Friday

Check in, walk the Historic District, and reach the promenade before dinner.

Leave the car at the inn or hotel, walk the blocks around Jackson, Perry, and Decatur streets, cross Washington Street, and finish near the oceanfront.

4:00 PM

Saturday

Climb the lighthouse, check the migration watches, then return to the beach.

Start at Cape May Point before the hottest beach hours. Confirm lighthouse and park status, visit the ponds or Northwood Center, then return to town for the afternoon and a reserved dinner.

4:30 PM

Afternoon

Return to town for the beach and promenade.

Use the afternoon for swimming when guarded and conditions permit, a promenade walk, or time at the inn before dinner.

Sunday

Eat breakfast, see the harbor, and leave before midday.

Choose a breakfast restaurant that is open in the morning, then visit the commercial harbor or take one last promenade walk before checkout and the drive home.
